Each April, MADD Canada hosts its National Conference for Victims’ of Impaired Driving. Delegates from across Canada come together to share their experiences and honour those who have been killed or injured as a result of impaired driving. Victims/survivors who have lost loved ones or been injured themselves in impaired driving crashes come together to share their experiences.

Thomson, Rogers' partner, Leonard Kunka, along with member firms of PIA Law will be presenters at this year's conference.

Thomson, Rogers, a proud member firm of the Personal Injury Alliance, is thrilled to announce the new association between PIA Law and MADD Canada. PIA law joins MADD Canada in supporting victims of impaired driving and raising awareness of the dangers of impaired driving.

Thomson, Rogers is proud to announce the sponsorship between the PIA Law and MADD Canada. As part of this sponsorship, the PIA becomes the Title Sponsor of MADD Canada’s National Strides for Change run/walk and will also work closely with them to support their Victim Services program.


This past summer the firms of PIA Law co-sponsored Practical Strategies - A one day conference for Health Care Providers - Catastrophic Impairment: A Look into the Future.

The conference was designed to increase awareness and understanding of SCI and provide an update on assessment and treatment strategies.
